English I Honors - Homework August 20, 2014

Homework: Bring in headphones tomorrow ( Do not go out and buy any. I will have a pair available for the students that told me today that they did not have a pair) . Find an article of interest on SIRS that deals with immigration. Your article must be printed off and should be read thoroughly. You are required to annotate the article and take active reading notes , in your notes journal, over this reading. You are required to include at least 3 definitions ( label this “NT-KW” or “note taking / key words”), 3 questions, 3 reviews, 3 connections and 3 evaluations. Remember all notes should be labeled, numbered, and the article should be marked up (make sure the numbers in your journal match the numbers on the article) This assignment is due Friday, August 22, 2014.

I have also included a link to  a Lib Guide with additional resources at the bottom of this post ( you don’t need the Lib Guide to complete this assignment remember you have to use SIRS).
