English I Honors - August 29, 2017 - All Classes


2nd period homework – Revise the theme for The Most Dangerous Game, find strong textual evidence to support your ideas. You should come to class with specific quotes that you want to use for evidence.



3rd period - READ this information carefully. I have added in something extra. Identify specific pieces of textual evidence to support the theme that we developed for The Most Dangerous Game. Revise the theme statement for Ender’s Game (use the same strategies that we used in class to help you with this revision)



4th period - Find textual evidence for the Most Dangerous Game theme statement. Revise theme statement for Ender’s Game using strategies used in class.



5th period  - revise hooks for Ender’s Game and make sure it matches the new theme, revise the class’s theme statement for Ender’s Game, find specific textual evidence for the Ender’s Game theme, and write a theme statement for The Most Dangerous Game.



6th period – create or revise your hook for the Ender’s Game theme paragraph, select specific quotes that match the textual evidence selected by the class, create a theme statement for The Most Dangerous Game.
