- Make sure you complete the reading assigned yesterday. Complete this on separate sheets of notebook paper. Please refer to yesterday's post for specific assignment guidelines.
- Keep up with your Membean Time.
- Study all myths read over the snow days. You can use the study guide questions to aide in your study.
- Complete your Learning Styles Handout given in class yesterday.
- NEW HOMEWORK: After determining your specific learning style go online and research suggested study habits that best cater to your top learning style. Create a list of 10 ways to study according to that learning style ( If you can not find 10 for your top learning style then find as many as you can and then complete your list with study techniques that fit the style that received the 2nd highest score.) After you create your list highlight any techniques that you currently use and place a star by 2 techniques that you a willing to try this semester. If you turned in your sheet yesterday and can not remember your scores you will need to click on the link below to take an online assessment.
Homework for Friday, February 27, 2015 - This is homework for the weekend in the event you want to work ahead.
- Read the myth Hercules.Complete active reading notes this myth story. Complete these notes in your notes journal or on separate sheets of paper. Make sure you label the story and the note type. Requirements for your active reading notes are listed below.
- ONE – Review – this should be a thorough summary of they myth. Use study guide questions as a guide for highlighting major parts of the story.
- TWO – Connections – they don’t have to be personal connections
- ONE – Question – that you must answer once you have finished reading the story.
- TWO – NT- KW – that are defined. Remember these can be words that are unfamiliar or words that are key to this story.
- TWO – Predictions – you must indicate the page number where you stopped before making each prediction.
- TWO – Evaluations
