Fall Break Work & Reminders

Fall Break Assignments

• Students are required to spend 45 minutes on Membean. You will have a quiz October 14, 2014. I will pull the next Membean times Sunday October 5th  and Sunday October 12th . Remember you must have the time and days ( 45 minutes per week and at least 3 days a week) if you want to receive full credit for your time on your quiz. 
• Complete the window activity peer review on turnitin.com.  This must be completed by 11:59 pm October 13, 2014. NOTE - Turnitin will have a scheduled system maintenance on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM Pacific Time. Due to the maintenance, Turnitin may be briefly unavailable between those times.

Class Reminders - this information was announced in class Thursday, October 2, 2014

• You will need your textbook when you return from break. 
• If you have purchased To Kill a Mockingbird please make sure you let me know.  
• GradeSpeed is updated frequently. If you have a question about a grade please see me. All of the assignments for the 1st quarter have been posted on GradeSpeed with the exception of the Call To Action Letter and the PSA. 
• As announced in class several times,  paper assignments take longer to grade. I will post them as soon as they are all graded. 
• The PSA was completed with another class. Mr. Dowlen and I have met twice to grade them and, due to late submissions, still have more to grade. We will finish grading them over fall break. 
• Both of the assignments listed above will still be calculated into your 1st quarter average. 

5th period students that didn't receive their graded papers today, you can pick them up after the pep rally ( 3:00-3:15) or after fall break.
